Eric Larson is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at ADHD Child & Family Services. He works with children, teens, and families navigating ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, and complex family dynamics.
Eric brings experience from both higher-acuity and outpatient settings, including subacute and intensive mental health programs. He has provided individual, group, and family therapy, with a focus on engaging youth and rebuilding connection within families during high-stress situations. He believes children and families are doing the best they can and benefit from building skills while strengthening what is already working. He helps kids find and grow into the best versions of themselves they can be.

His approach is collaborative, structured, and focused on real-world change. Eric helps families move out of stuck patterns by improving communication, increasing consistency, and supporting caregivers in responding more effectively to challenging behaviors. He integrates family systems therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), narrative techniques, brief solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing into his work.

Eric also has training in Geek Therapeutics and therapeutic role-playing games. He uses structured tabletop experiences to support peer teamwork, engagement, and real-time skill-building in social interaction, emotional regulation, and problem-solving in an engaging, experiential way.

Eric received his graduate education in Psychology with a Marriage and Family Therapy focus from UMass Global
