Kerri Russell holds a master’s degree in special education and is certified at the elementary education level as well as special education for ages 3-21. She spent most of her career working with children with chronic illness and injury and served on the traumatic brain injury consulting team for Oregon for several years. In working alongside parents and teachers of children with unique educational needs, Kerri understands the complexities of navigating the school system. Kerri left her teaching position in 2019 to work as an educational consultant and advocate.
Kerri joins us tonight to share information on IEP’s and 504 Plans, the difference between them, how a child or teen qualifies and your role in the process.
