Serenity Engasser, PsyD, is a psychologist resident based in Tigard, Oregon. Her approach to treatment is holistic and person-centered. Through research and clinical practice, Dr. Serenity has seen that ADHD presents differently for each person; therefore, she strives to see each individual as a whole, while recognizing the complexities of diagnostic presentations. Neurodevelopmental disorders have been a special interest of hers, as she has seen the added struggles that often come with late or missed diagnoses. She is passionate about assisting clients and families in getting the answers, recommendations, and support that can make positive, life-long impacts.

She is guided by a deep belief that every person can benefit from empathy and a little extra support. Dr. Serenity prioritizes honesty and authenticity when building therapeutic relationships, as well as emphasizing thoroughness and accuracy in diagnostic evaluations. She strives to meet people where they are and create a comfortable, safe space to discuss the necessary yet difficult topics, believing that in these moments, genuine compassion and curiosity can go a long way. Dr. Serenity also firmly believes that, when appropriate, a bit of humor to bring some levity to the therapy room is valuable.

Dr. Serenity earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant University in Fresno, California, in 2024. Her experience has emphasized working with adolescents and adults in various settings, including outpatient, university counseling, neuropsychological, inpatient, and detention facilities. During her postdoctoral hours, she has emphasized gaining experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating neurodevelopmental disorders (specifically, ADHD). Dr. Serenity is passionate about using her voice – especially to help those with difficulty using their own.
