Chapwin “Emily” Huang is an intern at ADHD Child and Family Services. They are in the process of completing their Master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in Oregon. Emily co-facilitates sessions with the guidance of a licensed therapist in creating a playful, safe, and supportive nature in their work with children of all ages and their families.
Her current graduate work focuses on using evidence-based approaches in therapy. As an intern, she is learning about ADHD and adapting scientific knowledge in teaching families how to work with their ADHD. Her capstone project is focused on helping families understand time management in relation to ADHD.
After graduation, they will continue their work at the ADHD Child and Family Services in refining their understanding of ADHD and helping families.
