Psychology Intern located in Tigard, OR

Tal is an intern who is working to fulfill her Master’s in Psychological Science. She is motivated by the belief that each child has the ability to reach their full potential when they are given the support and tools they need. Using a collaborative and trauma informed approach, Tal focuses on fostering self-acceptance and compassion. She truly enjoys working with children and parents to help them discover strategies to embrace challenges, develop resilience, and improve their overall well-being. Her areas of specialty include sensory concerns, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, emotional regulation, and family systems.

Tal holds a BS in Human Development and Family Sciences, with a focus in Child Development. She is a licensed behavior therapist and has experience addressing the individual needs of children with autism and ADHD. Her therapeutic experience includes helping children and parents to develop coping skills for behavioral, emotional, and executive functioning difficulties. In addition to clinical work, Tal conducts research focused on examining youth and family issues such as sleep problems, disordered eating, and emotional regulation.

She spends her leisure time hiking around Oregon with her puppy and tending to her collection of indoor plants. Tal is constantly creating, whether it’s knitting a colorful sweater or producing art for her home.
