Regis is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is also a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife. She received her BSN and MSN, with a focus in Primary Care, from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she provided care to children, adolescents and adults in a wide variety of primary care settings. She received a post masters degree in Midwifery from Oregon Health Sciences University and practiced as a Certified Nurse Midwife for over fifteen years. She is passionate about patient-centered, whole-person care and sought to integrate mental health care into her FNP and CNM roles. In 2018, she decided to pursue mental health care as the primary focus of her practice. She obtained her PMHNP post masters degree from Frontier Nursing University. She values evidence-based, trauma-sensitive care with an emphasis on shared decision making. She is experienced in treating a wide range of clinical conditions with special interests in perinatal mood disorders and ADHD.
