Mariah Wyatt, MA, was trained in Art Therapy at Lewis & Clark College’s Graduate Professional Mental Health Counseling program.  She enjoys working collaboratively with teens and young adults to develop positive identities and build habits that lead to lasting and sustainable positive change.  Through the use of art-making, conversation and self-reflection Mariah supports her client’s ability to explore what is possible in themselves, build skills that lead to greater emotional intelligence, and develop meaningful relationships with others.  Mariah has worked with a broad range of client populations and ages including K-12 youth in an outpatient treatment program, an adult psychiatric hospital, and a community-based mental health program for youth and families in crisis.  

Mariah believes in identifying and developing strengths that exist within a person and around them in order to support sustainable, accessible growth that aligns with each individual’s interests, values, and existing support systems.  In order to provide individualized care, Mariah assists in the identification and development of personal learning styles with an emphasis on creativity, empowerment, and skill-building.  Mariah’s overarching clinical goal is to shift one’s focus from a survival mindset to a thriving mindset through honoring the combined wisdom and healing power of both the body and mind.
