Elise Graner earned her Masters of Social Work at Portland State University.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon.

Elise has over twenty years’ experience working with children and adolescents in various capacities.  The last six years she has worked in school settings and at a non-profit community mental health clinic.  Elise enjoys on-going trainings at the Oregon Psychoanalytic Center and has served on committees at OPC to promote more diversity and social justice within the mental health field.

She specializes in children, adolescents and families who may be struggling with ADHD, trauma, depression, anxiety, family stressors or challenging dynamics, and anger issues including Oppositional Defiant Disorder.  Elise also works with adults and couples.  She uses trauma-informed evidence-based practices through a psychodynamic lens.  Elise assists clients in building upon their own strengths and works collaboratively to foster an open, trusting environment where clients feel comfortable to face their challenges, learn about and gain more self-awareness and acceptance, and acquire new techniques or skills to manage difficult behaviors or emotions; all with greater awareness and ease.
