Lexi is an intern working towards her Master in Applied Psychological Sciences from Pacific University. She feels strongly that family involvement is critical for the child’s growth and well-being. She is passionate about collaborating with children and their families to increase their self-advocacy, independence, confidence, connectedness, and goal reaching.

She approaches her work from a strengths-based perspective, meeting children and families where they are at and encouraging them to be patient with themselves. Her goal is to create a fun and safe environment for all children and families in her care.

She has experience working with children with learning disorders and developmental delays. She is passionate about building skills in communication, attention getting, emotion regulation, and social interactions. She has worked in clinics, in the community, and in the school setting. She engages teachers in problem solving and behavior management plans to create a more cohesive classroom experience for all.

Lexi is an Oregon native who enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her two cats, and exploring new food in the city.
